Christmas Past and Present

We announced Storynory to the world around this time last year (after quietly posting a few stories to stock up the archive). Since then, we've kept our promise and published a new story every week, no matter what.

Several of our first stories were Chrismtasy ones, and we expect that they will be new to many of our listeners who have joined us in 2006. We are reviving most of the early Christmas stories and presenting them in icons on our front page. We will probably tinker with our iTunes / Podcast feed as well in December to make the selection more festive.

Listening back to those early stories shows how how far we've come on. We still think they are presentable in public, but you'll hear the difference. The sound quality had quite an eerie echo in those days (they were recorded in a kitchen basement). Natasha's performances were wonderful from the start, but they've grown in confidence and ambition with each passing week.

We hope you will enjoy our early efforts from the archive all the same. They were made with bags of spirit and enthusiasm! And look out for the new Seasonal Stories as we get into the Christmas spirit again for this year.
